So I have decided to make this thread where I will attempt to list and link to all the methods and tips posted on LSF. Well, the problem that a newbie like me faces (and I'm sure many other have this same problem) is that we have no idea what the right methods are, and don't even know where to begin. A lot of VNs have used them for some or all of their backgrounds, and with the right methods they can look quite nice. I notice that a lot of people here suggest that those who are in need of backgrounds, but lack the ability to draw them themselves, should consider the use of filtered photos.
